My mission is to help you change your relationship with food and your body, break free from diet culture, and give you your life back; and together, we’re going to make that happen, one step-at-a-time.
This all starts by understanding the source of your struggle, taking inventory of your beliefs and behaviors, and providing you with bullshit-free nutrition science so we can empower you and set you free.
What to expect
During our time together, we’re going to deconstruct your beliefs about food and your body and explore the ways in which they’re working against you, while gently replacing them with behaviors, self-talk, and self-care that will help to create the sustainable changes you are wanting.
I’m going to provide you with strategies to help you work through the areas where you feel stuck, confused, or simply need guidance, while I help you reclaim your ability to trust and honor your individual needs, so you can begin to live, eat, and move confidently on your own terms.
We’ll work together to help you:
- Stop obsessing about food so it no longer holds you hostage
- Feel confident and in control around all food (including holiday parties, happy hours, and potlucks)
- Understand why your struggle with food is not a lack of willpower or a character defect
- Explore the behaviors, beliefs, and expectations that may be keeping you stuck
- Recognize how restrictive thoughts and eating patterns can perpetuate binge and emotional eating, and how you can stop
I’m going to equip you with tools and knowledge you need to make the shifts that will have you eating effortlessly and confidently, so you can start feeling more comfortable in your body and learn to eat like a “normal” person.
Step 1: 30 Minute Complimentary Phone Consultation
During the initial consultation, I want to listen to your story and have you tell me about your struggle so I can understand what you’re needing and wanting, and how I can help get you there. At the end of the call we will decide if we are a good fit for one another.
Step 2: Initial Appointment: (90 minutes Consultation)
This is where we dive in and get to work so we can start moving you in the direction you want. This isn’t just about creating another plan, it’s exploring and navigating your struggle with food and creating the strategies that will give you the confidence, knowledge, and peace that you’re looking for.
Step 3: Moving Forward
Every journey is different, and some take longer than others. Just as you wouldn’t go to therapy one time, working on your relationship with food and your body is no different. I will be by your side helping you to ride the waves, while providing you consistent, nonjudgmental guidance and support all along the way.
I pride myself on making myself available to my clients every day, which is why in addition to our time together I offer text, email, and phone support in between sessions.
